Our Commitment to Safe Gambling

V.Vegas holds a valid gaming licence from the Curaçao Gaming Control Board under licence 8048/JAZ. The wellbeing of our players is every bit as important to us as entertainment. Our responsible gambling programme is built on three core pillars: prevention, intervention, and support.

We fund independent research into problem gambling and collaborate with leading organisations to ensure players have access to the best possible help. Our customer service team is trained to recognise signs of problematic gambling behaviour and to proactively respond to concerning signals.

Responsible Gambling Principles

Gambling at V.Vegas should be an enjoyable form of entertainment β€” not a source of income, a way to solve financial problems, or an escape from stress. Before you start playing, we recommend that you set a budget and stick to it, decide in advance how long you want to play, accept that losses are a normal part of gambling, avoid chasing losses, and take regular breaks.

  • Gambling is entertainment, not a financial strategy
  • Never gamble with money you cannot afford to lose
  • Take breaks β€” step away from the game when you feel frustrated
  • Alcohol and gambling are a risky combination
  • Past wins have no influence on future game outcomes

Recognising Problem Gambling

⚠️
If you recognise any of the following warning signs in yourself, we strongly encourage you to use the self-exclusion tools or to contact one of the support organisations immediately.
  • Spending more time or money gambling than intended
  • Gambling to recover previous losses
  • Neglecting work, family, or social obligations due to gambling
  • Feeling restless, irritable, or anxious when not gambling
  • Hiding gambling habits from people close to you
  • Borrowing money or selling assets to fund gambling
  • Unsuccessful attempts to limit or stop gambling

Deposit & Loss Limits

Players can set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit and loss limits at any time. A reduction to a limit takes effect immediately. An increase to a limit requires a 24-hour cooling-off period before it is activated, to prevent impulsive decisions.

How to set or change limits

  • Log in to your account
  • Go to Account Settings β†’ Responsible Gambling β†’ Limits
  • Choose the limit type and amount
  • Confirm β€” you will receive an email confirmation once the limit has been set
ℹ️
We recommend setting limits that reflect your actual entertainment budget β€” not the maximum amount you could afford in an emergency.
⏱️
06

Session Limits & Reality Check

Session time limits allow you to set the maximum duration of a single gaming session. Once the limit is reached, you will be automatically logged out of your account.

Reality Check

Reality Check reminders appear at intervals you set yourself (30, 60, or 90 minutes) and display the following information:

  • Total duration of the session
  • Net winnings or losses
  • A prompt asking whether you wish to continue or end the session
⚠️
A Reality Check that has been set cannot be disabled. It can only be made more frequent.

Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion allows you to lock your account for a set period or permanently. To self-exclude, contact us at support@vvegas.ca or use Account Settings β†’ Responsible Gambling β†’ Self-Exclusion.

Available exclusion periods

  • 6 months
  • 1 year
  • 2 years
  • 5 years
  • Permanent

During self-exclusion

  • Your account will be locked immediately
  • All marketing communications will cease
  • Any pending bonuses will be forfeited
  • The creation of new accounts will not be permitted
🚫
A permanent self-exclusion is irrevocable under any circumstances. We strongly recommend contacting a support organisation before choosing this option.
⚠️
If you attempt to circumvent the exclusion by creating a new account after self-excluding, we are legally required to close such an account immediately.
